At Our Chapter
At the Ahmedabad Chapter, we empower community leaders and assist them in growing as per the ecosystem’s needs leading to an excellent mechanism for generating sustainable livelihoods. Our focus has been leveraging the indigenous potential across India – artisanal craft, food tech, agriculture, and more.
The Chapter associates with projects that address empowerment as a 360° dialogue – identifying opportunities for individuals to increase their circle of influence and concern. Gujarat, known as the ‘land of Baniyas,’ is apt that the ethos has led us toward encouraging entrepreneurship.

Kaarigar Clinic has raised funding through Shark Tank India this season for Pabiben.com. They have partnered with Namita Thapar, who will financially support and strengthen the organization’s capacity to achieve goals.

Partner interacted with an NGO – Saath Charitable Trust working with micro and nano entrepreneurs to help them scale and or diversify their business to help them earn a sustainable income.
Our Ahmedabad partners inaugurated Prabhat Education Foundation’s vocational skilling center for youth with intellectual disabilities. The skills training center is a step in a much-needed direction for Prabhat and its beneficiaries.
At SVP Ahmedabad, we had a small gathering of women partners. The discussion revolved around where everyone was in life right now and how they were able to get there. We hope to encourage the participation of women in SVP Ahmedabad by creating spaces for them to engage through such exercises.
Our partner Nicole dives straight into working with SOACH India – the need of the hour is to assist the organization in the marketing effort of the beautiful handcrafted products. Project 300+ at SOACH India aims to ensure financial independence for women as a lead into conversations around empowerment.
