At Our Chapter
We amplify your impact in Pune and beyond. We connect funders, businesses, and individuals with local non-profits and social organizations to forge positive & dynamic change. We help you do more—with the right combination of time, treasure, talent, ties, and training. SVP India, Pune Chapter is a support system for philanthropists & NGOs and a catalyst for change.
The Pune Chapter of SVP India was launched in 2014 and since then has worked with over 15 grass-root organizations and more than 100 like-minded individuals who believe in creating impact. Along with individual philanthropists, our Chapter launched the Corporate Partnership Program in early 2020. It is aimed at companies who wish to provide the SVP experience to their senior executives. The organization nominees to SVP partake of the diverse learning and growth opportunities like focused learning sessions, workshops, NGO visits, Chapter Committees, and hands-on volunteering opportunities at NGOs.

Our Pune Partner Meeting on 16th March hosted by our Corporate Partner – Sudarshan Chemicals was extremely inspiring as our investee NGOs presented their work and the future roadmap for this year. It was fabulous to have so many of our Partners join us to understand the work our 7 non-profit entities through the year. Though the presentations were a mix of online and in-person presentations, it surely was inspiring to hear our NGOs impact. A big thank you to all our Lead Partners who have been working with the NGOs and pushing them to deliver while maintaining the perfect balance of the mind and heart which is extremely critical in this engagement journey! We have received feedback from Partners on how can we make such engagements more effective and we will be incorporating those ideas starting April!

As our first batch of first-generation learners, SVP and iTeach came together to enable them to get their first jobs! The insights from the SVP partners were critical here, and we are continuing to refine our programs basis their advice.

Being a part of a network of like-minded individuals always creates a sense of community; where one can learn and share. My best learnings have been listening to a lot to several voices – the leadership of the NGO and the personnel who work there, community stakeholders, SVP India Partners as well as the management team

Over these last five years, as I have deeply engaged with SVP and worked closely with the nonprofit sector, my thought process has completely changed. I now understand the value of giving back to a more significant cause and the impact that it creates when you join hands to work together.
