Vivek Gambhir

Vivek currently serves as Chairman of boAt Lifestyle, India’s leading consumer lifestyle tech accessories brand. He leads the strategy, organisational development, culture and future growth divisions. Prior to joining boAt, he was the CEO and MD of Godrej Consumer Products Limited, and has also been Chief Strategy Officer of the Godrej Group.

Vivek was the founding member of Bain & Company’s consulting operations in India and led the firm’s FMCG practice in India. He worked for Bain in their Boston and Singapore offices. He serves on the boards of Imagine Marketing, Metropolis Healthcare, Honasa Consumer and Samast Technologies. He mentors several start-up founders. He is an advisor to Kailash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation and Central Square Foundation.

Vivek is a Harvard Business School Alumni and a BS (Computer Science) and BA (Economics) from Lafayette College. He is married to Roopika, who is a social worker and photographer and they have three children. Together, they enjoy traveling to off beat locations. Vivek has written numerous columns for leading business publications on a variety of issues such as organisational transformation, innovation, brand profitability and sales force effectiveness.
