Vedika Bansal

Born in Kanpur and raised in boarding schools from the age of nine, Vedika’s early exposure to diverse environments shaped her worldview, curiosity, and compassion. She studied at The International School Bangalore and earned a BSc in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance) from Northeastern University.
After returning to India in 2020, she joined her family jewellery business and completed a diamond grading course from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). In December last year, she married Viraaj, after which her journey took
a purposeful turn toward the world of tea. She is now launching Istora, an organic tea brand bringing tea from her family’s nineteenth-century Darjeeling estate directly to consumers.
In her free time, Vedika enjoys playing squash, watching thrillers, and backgammon.
