Sunita Reddy Cheruku

Sunita Reddy Cheruku is an SVP Partner and Chair of the Hyderabad chapter at SVP India, and a member of the All India Board of Directors. Bringing a strong corporate background into the world of engaged philanthropy, she is passionate about supporting grassroots nonprofits through strategic guidance, thoughtful engagement, and collaborative problem-solving.
Since joining SVP India in 2019, Sunita has played a key role in strengthening high-impact organizations across education, health, livelihoods, and community development, with a particular focus on women and children. Prior to her work in the social sector, she spent over a decade at Novartis Pharma, leading clinical research teams and fostering collaborative, high-performing cultures. She holds a PhD in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut and completed a research fellowship at Rutgers University.
