Sunita is passionate about working towards optimal health status for women and children in India. She enjoys working with people and enabling them to unleash their potential. She was fortunate enough to combine her passion and professional career at Novartis as she spent more than a decade building high performing teams through inspired and inclusive leadership. The start of 2019 was the beginning of a new phase of her life, where she decided to focus on her passion of working with women and children. The journey continues…with tremendous support from her family unit consisting of Venkat, her husband and Shrujan & Arnav, their sons.
Venkat is an entrepreneur and has been self-employed since his graduation and has gained experience across several service domains in the US. Currently, he keeps himself busy with his several agricultural projects, while winding down his other business interests.
My Journey at SVP
SVP Partners since 2019
“Why did I join SVP? The reason, two years ago, was that the vision and mission of the organization were very much aligned to the objective I had set for myself for the new phase of my life – working with women and children. Today, I am glad to have taken that decision as every interaction, be it with fellow partners or investees or beneficiaries has been a great learning experience. SVP was the right platform for my initiation into the social sector, as I quickly realized that my corporate skills of strategy development, coaching/mentoring and building/managing teams are transferable to this domain. Working with organizations such as SAFA and Swasti, which focus on women empowerment motivates me to do more. The energy and passion of the women to better their lives inspire me to be a “better” person in life.”
