Smriti Chawla

Smriti is deeply committed to giving back, having been involved with NGOs since childhood, volunteering for sustainability awareness and assisting with communication material.
Trained as a manuscript editor and journalist, she recently co-authored an anthology for budding copyeditors with the Indian Copyeditors Forum and volunteers at the Iyengar Yoga institute in Pune, managing their Facebook page.
She now works full-time in social development with Aquapharm Foundation, focusing on Senior Citizen’s Care, Education, and Infrastructural Development.
When she has some downtime, Smriti loves hanging out with her mother, grandmother and various family members. She loves travelling, discovering new cuisines everywhere she goes, putting her feet up with her friends, practising Iyengar Yoga, and reading everything she can get her hands on.
