Shobu & Laxmi Yarlagadda

Shobu Yarlagadda is the CEO and co-founder of Arka Mediaworks, a leading film and television production house based in India. Established in 2001, Arka Mediaworks has produced several successful and critically acclaimed television shows and films including “Vedam,” “Maryada Ramanna,” and most recently, S.S Rajamouli’s two-part Indian epic, “Baahubali.”

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Andhra University, College of Engineering, Vizag and a Master’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA.

Apart from being a partner at SVP, Hyderabad, Shobu is on the board of Choice Foundation, an NGO working to uplift the health of underprivileged children and Trustee in Aditya Mehta Foundation, a non-profit organisation which aids people with disabilities to pursue sports while providing self-sustenance.

An avid trekker, Shobu pursues his culinary interests, travel, reading, and time with his family as a way of unwinding.
