About the partner
Sherry has been with the social impact sector for the past 8 years and began this journey with the Pan-India Volunteer Development role at Make-A-Wish India Foundation.
She then moved on to Antarang Foundation, a Mumbai-based career guidance and employability skilling organization working with youth. She led several teams as the Director of Programs, Operations, and Partnerships. Under her leadership, the organization grew 10X in outreach, scaled to 2 new geographies, and created multi-year partnerships with state governments and local bodies.
Before this, her corporate career spanned 15 years in some of the world’s best hotels and airlines in management roles, primarily in the Learning and Development and Human Resource functions. She was instrumental in leading the pre-opening stage set-ups of hotels like the Burj Al Arab Dubai, Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai (post 26/11), and Shangri-La Mumbai.
Sherry has an entrepreneurial mindset, is a strong team builder, and is equally passionate about people-connecting processes that create collaborations and impact. She has completed several Business Excellence and Leadership Effectiveness programs and is a Dasra Social Impact Accelerator Fellow.
My Journey at SVP

“As SVP’s NGO investee team member, my introduction to SVP and relationship with the Mumbai chapter was built through the phenomenal support from the lead partners.
As a Non-Profit Consultant in 2021, I had the fantastic opportunity to curate and enforce a pioneering large-scale Pan-India Philanthropic program and event – ‘Fast Pitch’ for SVP. This program built the organizational and communications capacities of 12 NGOs through cross-geographical SVP partner coaching teams. It raised Rs 2.9 cr through the virtual event attended by 700+ donors, CSR team members, and philanthropists. This incredible exposure and experience have now culminated in joining this passionate team in the quest to build One SVP internally and externally.”
