About the partner
Sanjiv set up the Egon Zehnder India practice in 1995 and played a crucial role in establishing the firm as a market leader in the executive search space. In 1985 Sanjiv co-founded a Chartered Accountancy and management consulting firm, Sachar Vasudeva and Associates, and co-founded the executive search firm Direct Impact. Before that, Sanjiv handled the finance function for the Indo-Japanese joint venture SRF Nippondenso (Denso) and was a management consultant with A F Ferguson (now part of Deloitte).
Sanjiv is on the boards of HDFC Bank and KDDL Chandigarh (the holding company of Ethos Watches). He is the Chief Mentor at Huddle, an incubator in Gurgaon.
Sanjiv has been a CMC member at SVP and a Lead Partner for Saajha. Sanjiv has served as the Chairperson of the Delhi NCR Chapter of SVP India from 2020 – 2022
My Journey at SVP
“For me at SVP, everyday is a learning and humbling experience, on how we can share our knowledge and work with like minded people to improve the lives of fellow citizens, who unfortunately do not have access to basic necessities of life.
