Salil Pitale

Salil has had over 30 years of corporate work life, largely in the areas of Corporate and Investment Banking at Axis Capital, Axis Bank and Enam Group. His last corporate stint was as JMD & Co-CEO of Axis Capital.
Since 2024, Salil has pivoted to the Social space – he is an active Advisory Board Member and Director at Desh Apnayen Sahayog Foundation, set up by Vallabh Bhanshali of Enam Group. In addition, he takes up select value-creation advisory assignments for Indian Promoters/Corporates.
Salil is a Computer Engineer from VJTI and an MBA from IIM Lucknow.
He is an active runner, having run more than 40 half-marathons over the last 15 years.
