Rohan completed his engineering from IIT Bombay and joined Deutsche Bank in the capital markets team. After four years at Deutsche across Mumbai and New York, Rohan came back to India to pursue his MBA at the Indian School of Business and jumped into the growing start-up world. He spent a couple of years at a clean technology startup Carbon Clean Solutions, and then joined the investment team at early stage venture capital firm Blume Ventures as a Principal.
At Blume, Rohan looked at fintech investments and worked across the portfolio building deep networks in the VC community. He also worked closely with the partners on roadshows for Blume’s own fund. Since 2018, Rohan has been at Waterfield Advisors, a wealth-advisory firm, heading Alternative Investments, working closely with large and well-known family offices helping them identify and invest into private markets across PE/VC funds and directly into private companies. Rohan also manages the Waterfield Fund of Funds, India’s first PE/VC fund of funds investing into top quartile managers and co-investing with them into companies.
Rohan lives in Bandra West, Mumbai with his wife Pooja Menon, and two kids Nina and Ray. Rohan is a big basketball fan and is trying to play pickle ball regularly.
