PR Ramesh

P. R. Ramesh is the former Chairman of Deloitte India with over 40 years of professional experience. He is a Commerce graduate from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Ramesh also served as a member of the Deloitte Global Board and the Deloitte Asia Pacific Board.
He has been closely associated with regulatory bodies, industry forums, and the ICAI, contributing significantly to the development of accounting and auditing standards in India. He is the co-author of the CCH publication iGAAP – Financial Reporting Standards in India, which includes a comparison with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ramesh was also a member of the Board of Studies and Faculty of Commerce at Osmania University. He currently serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several leading organizations, including Air India, Air India Express, Cipla Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, ITC Hotels, Larsen & Toubro Limited, Nestlé India Limited, Cyient, and Tejas Networks Limited.
Jayanti is currently a homemaker and previously served as a Pre-Primary Teacher at Gitanjali Devshala, from where she retired after several years of dedicated service.
