Meher Gandevia-Billimoria

Meher Gandevia-Billimoria has over 25 years of experience in the education and non-profit sectors in India and internationally. She began her career at Bangkok Patana School in Thailand, working with students from diverse backgrounds.

In India’s social sector, she has held leadership roles focused on strengthening organisations and building capacity across multiple institutions. At Akanksha, she strengthened curriculum and teacher development across 23 centres. As COO at CAP, she drove sector-wide capacity building. She later conceptualised and launched the Compliance-Complete Certification, a comprehensive program supporting NGOs on governance, compliance, HR, communication and fundraising. At Make-A-Wish India, including her role as CEO, she aligned operations across 11 chapters aligning them to the International norms, strengthened monitoring systems and enhanced donor engagement. At the Bombay Community Public Trust, she streamlined grant-making processes and positioned the Trust for its next phase of strategic growth.

She has served as a Trustee on multiple boards and volunteered with the Jai Vakeel Foundation in strengthening vocational training processes for neurodivergent young adults. She has co-authored Cuisine for a Cause, a Parsi cookbook that celebrates non-profit leaders with their food and recipes for success. She also interviews inspiring personalities and contributes regularly to a weekly Parsi community newspaper.
