Indumati Srinivasan

Indu cleared the Indian Civil Services Examinations and joined the cadre of the Indian Railways Accounts Service (I.R.A.S.) in August 1987. She then served the Indian Railways Finance & Accounts department in various capacities from the level of the Junior Accounts Officer (J.A.O) to Financial Adviser & Chief Accounts Officer (F.A & C.A.O).

Indu has served in various states and cities across India and was also Deputed to Mozambique for a year through RITES. Presently she is serving in IISc as Financial Controller since August 2010.

Indu is a professional Veena player who started learning Carnatic music from her mother at the age of 4. She is also interested in visual arts.
