Hemant began his journey at the IIT, Delhi in 1970 & later pursued an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1994. His top skills include conception, execution, & delivery of shareholder value through global M&A ventures across diverse geographies. With a wealth of experience as a CXO in both line & staff roles across various verticals. Hemant is driven by a desire to give back to his country & society. He aims to achieve this by facilitating the “”Made in India”” initiative, leveraging his extensive global experience to aid enterprises in scaling up, & mentoring young adults in unconventional career-building approaches. He is an active supporter of SPIC MACAY, a society dedicated to preserving & promoting traditional Indian arts among student communities.
Hemant learnt about giving back, 40 years ago from his late wife Lina who quit her job & started working for Missionaries of Charity. In her memory, he has created Lina Luthra foundation that focuses on supporting the girl child through different stages of her life. He believes his purpose of life is to attain a state of happy, content & confident calm that allows him to be at peace with himself & give back to society more than he has got.
