Dr Rahul & Netra Walawalkar

Dr Rahul Walawalkar, President & MD of Customized Energy Solutions (CES) (India), spearheads its global Emerging Technologies sector. He’s a leading voice for clean energy, energy storage, and e-mobility, founding and presiding over the India Energy Storage Alliance (IESA) since 2012. With a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, Rahul influences energy policies globally and has earned various recognitions and prestigious awards like the Brad Roberts Award and CII Innovative Energy Services Award.
Netra, a founding member of CES’ India operation and a Co-founder of the IESA, she champions India’s electricity markets, energy storage and e-mobility. Netra leads IESA’s initiatives for skill development and women’s participation in clean energy. As Director at CES Foundation, she drives rural economic development through renewable energy solutions and is also an active angel investor in startups serving underserved communities. She holds an MBA from Drexel University and an Electronics Engineering degree from Mumbai University.
