Dr Nandakishore Dukkipati

Dr. Nandakishore is a distinguished Bariatric and Metabolic Surgeon with over 30 years of experience, currently serving as Clinical Director & Chief Surgeon for Obesity & Diabetes Surgery at KIMS Livlife Hospitals, Hyderabad, and Managing Director of Livlife Hospitals Pvt Ltd.
He holds the qualifications MBBS, MD, DABS, FASMBS, and FIBC, and brings with him an exceptional academic background — having completed his General Surgery Residency at Cornell University, New York, followed by two Fellowships at the University of Texas, Dallas, in Advanced Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery and Gastrointestinal & Endocrine Surgery respectively. He is also a former Member of the Medical Council of India and currently serves as President-Elect of the Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society of India (OSSI).
Beyond the operating theatre, Dr. Nandakishore is a passionate public health advocate. He is the founder of several impactful initiatives including India’s Biggest Weight Loss Challenge, As A Matter of Fat, and Say Yes to Health — all aimed at driving sustainable lifestyle transformation across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
He is accompanied in life by his wife Ratna Dukkipati, son Avinash Dukkipati, and daughter Miya Dukkipati.
