Dr Harsha was born into a modest family in a small town in India, where she was raised by teacher parents who instilled in her a deep commitment to service and social responsibility. She holds an MPhil and PhD in Reproductive Physiology from Gujarat University and brings over 25 years of experience in rural development across multiple states in India.
Her work has centered on women’s health, empowerment, and education. She served as a Research Coordinator with the BAIF Development Research Foundation,, and is a founding member of Akshara – Equal Access to Opportunity, an outreach initiative of the Mahindra United World College of India.
Driven by the belief that education must go beyond textbooks to truly transform lives, Harsha established Anubhuti Social Empowerment & Educational Foundation, a Section 25A non-profit organization. Anubhuti focuses on providing life-enriching educational and empowerment programs, particularly for underserved communities, with an emphasis on holistic development and lifelong learning.”
