About the partner
Devika went to La Martiniere For Girls School and did her B.M.S. at St. Xavier’s College. She is the Founder and C.E.O. – Of the Kitchenette Kolkata. She is from a joint family in Kolkata. Her parents deeply believe in philanthropy as a way of life and always contribute to causes that resonate with them.
Devika feels that every individual should give back to society, not as charity but as responsibility. She was closely connected to the Each One Teach Program at Cini Asha and trained as a pre-educator. Through this, she found her love for teaching kids and founded an evening school called ‘Udaan‘ for kids from the SSKM hospital worker homes. Joining S.V.P., she hopes, will help her get ‘time-donation discipline‘ into her daily schedule and help her do what she truly loves.

As a young entrepreneur and now philanthropist, SVP resonates most with my interest and the vision to give back to society. I have enjoyed being part of the meetings, where I learned much from other partners and contributed to mine with beneficiaries. With the help of SVP, I can fulfill my dream of engaging with society. With SVP, I hope to engage and support more different projects to build a holistic understanding of the developmental sector.
