About the partner
Mr. Devendra Surana, a Kolkatan has done his schooling from Don Bosco & MBA from Bond University (Aus). He is currently pursuing the OPM Program at Harvard Business School.
He gradually started building his PET packaging business and today ‘Magpet’ is among the top 5 PET converters in India. It is the largest in Eastern India and they have strong growth plans and is being completely managed by professionals.
His current and past engagements with philanthropy have been towards contributing to NGO’s via CSR and also in a personal capacity to beneficiaries directly.
My Journey at SVP
Partner Since 2023
I have been very keen to start my philanthropic journey with SVP. I had already been admiring SVP’s investment and mentoring-based approach for while when I met with one of the existing Kolkata partners who convinced me to join SVP as a partner of the Kolkata chapter. I am highly interested in causes like working with children – education, nutrition and livelihood.
