D S Bhatt & Mamta D Bhatt

D S Bhatt graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Madras in 1984. Mamta D Bhatt pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Ann’s Women’s College. Hyderabad, graduating 1991.
D S Bhatt is a 3rd generation entrepreneur and is the founder and Managing Director of INCA Hammocks and recently launched a D2C brand called SlackJack. Along with serving on the board of INCA Hammocks, his wife Mamta is also the Chairperson of SDNB Vaishnav College for Women in Chennai, for which D S Bhatt is the Managing Trustee.
The College aims to provide education to first-generation women learners. In addition, he places focus on the women’s healthcare sector and oversees the Parvatiben Trikamji Bhatt Gujarati Sahaykari Hospital – a maternity hospital. Mamta also initiated a program for the visually impaired, providing them with opportunities to generate income and achieve greater independence.
Outside of his professional and philanthropic commitments, D S Bhatt enjoys playing table tennis, watching movies, and reading management books. Mamta has an interest in spiritual readings and is a passionate traveller, especially to places that connect her to nature and the animal kingdom.
