About the partner
Bidisha comes with 2 decades of progressive experience in working with children and youth and building organisations as part of leadership and senior management teams. Her training in Sociology prepared her for a career in building and growing initiatives that focus on the SDGs (the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals), particularly children’s development. She has been an entrepreneur and co-founder, with experience in operations, quality management, team building, training, fundraising and marketing.
She has worked for well-known organizations including Magic Bus, Save the Children UK, ActionAid International India, and Child Rights and You-CRY.
My Journey at SVP
Social Venture Partners’ model of engaged philanthropy with Partners and NGOs is a distinctive way of contributing towards Agenda 2030, with a particular focus on SDG 17 (Sustainable Development Goal 17: Partnership for the Goals’). In today’s times, this is a unique way of creating collaborations towards deep and lasting impact. I am both inspired as well as excited to be part of the SVP story.
