About the partner
As the President of Hope Foundation and Research Centre, a Public Charitable Trust promoted by the FINOLEX Group, Aruna has the distinct honour of being instrumental in contributing to the socio-economic landscape of Ratnagiri through their educational initiative – Finolex Academy of Management and Technology, (FAMT), espousing the cause of providing quality professional education to the youth through International Institute of Information Technology, (I2IT), Pune and foster research and development through the Pralhad P Chhabria Research Center (PPCRC), Pune.
She is also passionate about art and literature (Director – India Business Literature Festival (IBLF)), social initiatives like contributing towards environment protection and women empowerment.
My Journey at SVP
“My journey with SVP India began in April 2014 and from the very first day, I felt a connect with the team partners and the overall vision of organization. As the daughter of an industrialist and philanthropist (Late Shri Pralhad P Chhabria, Founder Chairman of Finolex Group of Companies), I was inculcated with the importance of giving back to society; which I found among my peers at SVP India. More importantly, I feel humbled that I have been able to make some difference by supporting genuine causes taken up by various NGOs and providing them with whatever support they needed. The best part of this group is that it is collaborative and as partners we can come together to make a difference to our communities.
Through my association with SVP, I can confidently say that philanthropy can be an individual’s choice; but when taken on collaboratively, the impact will be significant and better.”
