Anupama Rao

Anupama, the visionary founder of Anthea Montessori, is determined to make the Montessori philosophy mainstream. With an AMI Assistant Teacher Certificate and a bachelor’s degree in child psychology, Anupama has been running the school, with passion and empathy, for over a decade now.
Earlier, in her career, Anupama excelled in business development and general administration for various companies, both in the USA and in India.
Anupama was among the 13 trainees chosen for the inaugural women’s batch of pilots in the Indian Air Force, back in 1993.
