Ambuj Kumar

Ambuj has been an SVP India partner with the Bengaluru chapter since 2020 and has been deeply engaged with our mission. Over these 5 years, he has been Chair of the GC, member of GRC and CMC and has worked closely with NGOs such as ACCORD, Rishi Foundation, among others.
Professionally, Ambuj brings a unique blend of experience across the private and development sectors, having spent nearly two decades in financial services across North America, the Middle East, and North Africa, in leadership roles spanning strategy, marketing, risk, and finance. Transitioning into the development sector in 2020, he has also had a brief stint as an advisor with GAME for two years.
Ambuj is based in Bengaluru and holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and an MBA from Pennsylvania State University, USA. He is an alumnus of The Scindia School, Gwalior. Outside of work, he is an avid marathoner and among the select few to complete the prestigious 6 World Marathon Majors. He is a proud husband to Aditi, an educator at Neev Academy, and a father to two children – Saanvi and Shivank.
