About the partner
Alka is a learner for life, who works on creating Learning & Capability Programs through their family foundation – Shubh Arambh Foundation.
She has two beliefs — one, philanthropy is a 2-way street as both the philanthropist and the beneficiary gain from each other. Two, the most valuable gift a philanthropist can give is their intentional time.
I have gone through many roles at SVP — Lead Partner, Grants Committee Member – and this has given me great exposure to the social sector, plus a strong philanthropy network.
