Abubaker Koya

Abu has been an active and engaged Partner at the Bengaluru Chapter of SVP India since 2018, serving on the Chapter Management Committee, Partner Engagement Committee and NGO Engagement Committee. He has also been a Lead Partner with several NGOs, including EquiBeing, NavSahyog, Diya Ghar, ATREE and Dream School Foundation.
Professionally, over the last 35 years, Abubaker has served in various industries, with his last role as the MD of Geberit India, a Swiss sanitary products company. He is the past President of the Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce (2020-22). His prior leadership roles also include Country Head – India at Schuco International KG, Sales & Marketing Manager at National Aluminium Products Company and Export Manager at Indian Aluminium Company.
Abu holds a B.Sc. in Physics, a PGDIM in International Business from IMI and has completed an executive program at IMD. He loves food and cycling in equal measures.
