This International Women’s Day SVP India – Kolkata hosted an inspiring event showcasing the power of accelerating action for gender equality.
We were honored to have Nandita Palchoudhari, an Artist & Social Entrepreneur, as Guest of Honour whose work has impacted the lives of many artisans!
But the real heroes were the 9 incredible organizations working to empower women, who shared their journeys with us. Those with disabilities, from marginalised and vulnerable backgrounds, some with aspirations hoping that their dreams also come true.
Seed grants were awarded to 5 women grassroot entrepreneurs.
The event brought together some exceptional women from our SVP India – Kolkata family, our partners and leaders representing 14 of our NGO partners. These are women weaving the magic of social impact!
