SVP India (Kolkata Chapter) was privileged to listen to and interact with Mr. Shekhar Mehta, Rotary International President (2021–22), at the August All Partners’ Meet held on 4th August. It was an amazing and enriching experience for all the existing partners, along with two new partners of the chapter, a YFP Mentor and other guests, to hear all the incredible stories about the challenges have encouraged everyone present in the meeting to Serve To Change Lives.

Shekhar Mehta, a Rotary member since 1984, is the 4th Indian in 115 years to be elected as Global President of Rotary International. Along with this, he is also the chairman of RILM, which aims to achieve total literacy in India by 2027.
