SVP-Turnstone Global Partnership
The engagement of SVP with Turnstone Global has been beneficial in many ways. Apart from assisting with financial resources to train 100 dropout youth for their sustainable livelihoods in manufacturing cleanliness products such as soap, handwash, phenyl etc., the journey with SVP is a learning process on various important subjects relating to non-profits. The Lead Partners, Mr. Pradeep Murarka and Ms. Smita Agarwal, engage with the NGO every month to discuss progress and help resolve issues if any.
Story of success
As the project ‘Cleanliness – Youth Crusader’ has just begun its journey with the handholding of SVP, Turnstone Global’s team is quite hopeful that on the completion of its first year journey, 100 youth will be financially independent and will be able to support their families.
In the coming years, it is being projected that ‘Cleanliness – Youth Crusader’ will become a separate unit as an MSME which will be an example of youth empowerment.
The Internship support from SVP YFP led by Youth Mentor Ms. Sweta Saha is quite enriching and also assisting Turnstone Global to service various needs of the organisation.
