SVP partnership has been crucial in providing:
Mentorship: Understanding the organization, strategizing growth and giving inputs to strengthen the model.
Resources: Connecting with the stakeholders necessary for progress of the programs and overall growth. For example: Connecting with the buyers of the handmade products for the market linkage program.
SVP is a philanthropic organisation in the true sense. It invests in the organisation’s growth for a period of three years to ensure the impact is happening on ground. One crucial support provided by SVP is investment in capacity building which is rare for donors to do in India. Having invested resources in capacity building truly builds the strength of the organization making the development long lasting and the SVP engagement fruitful. It provides financial and non-financial resources for the same.
