Story of success

Nayna(23), Sudeshna(15) and Riya(17), who are just a few from the entire group of peer leaders named Rang-Tuli, who we started working with almost 2 years back on Kheyadaha II Gram Panchayat. In these 2 years, I have seen these girls reaching one milestone after another in furthering their rights. They are changemakers in the truest sense for me.On a sultry afternoon in April 2023, these girls went to meet their Village Panchayat Chief to convince them to start working in the nearby villages under the panchayat. They excitedly talked about all their work, all their learnings and all their plans with the Village Chief (Gram Pradhan) and proposed to expand the work in partnership with the panchayat. We presented a letter of interest to the Chief and it was accepted without any resistance.
