Ek Tara empowers girls and women in urban slum communities near Kolkata’s eastern fringes by providing high-quality educational opportunities and capacity-building initiatives. Our vision is to ensure that every child receives an excellent education to realize their full potential. To achieve this, we support disadvantaged children through independently run learning centers and educational programs in government schools, helping them lead dignified and empowered lives.
