ASSCOD, founded in 1994, empowers rural and tribal women through Self Help Groups by providing training in financial and digital literacy, livelihood promotion, and access to credit and markets. Its flagship initiative, Capacity Building of Women for Sustainable Development, has uplifted over 7,400 women. Currently, ASSCOD works across 15 Irula villages in Chengalpattu and Kancheepuram, reaching 1,271 people through programs in women empowerment, livelihood, health, and solar energy.

As part of the non-financial engagement with ASSCOD, SVP is supporting the organization in strengthening its strategic direction and organizational development. The key areas of focus include refining the vision and mission of the organization, developing a strategy for effective implementation of these goals, creating a succession planning framework for leadership continuity, and identifying and planning skill development initiatives for existing staff. These efforts aim to enhance organizational clarity, strengthen leadership, and build long-term sustainability.
