The biggest opportunity for us is to reach and impact every girl in STEM field to have fulfilled careers and maybe be a part of a budding scientist’s journey • Improve ratio of students in STEM field especially rural • Reduce dropout % of girls enrolled in STEM • Improve affinity in girl students to pursue career in STEM
Potential – We see the immense potential in improving the gender ratio of girls in STEM. We are building an ecosystem to fix the leaky pipeline for women in STEM
Motivation.. As a first generation learner coming from a low income family, I barely had access to role models or opportunities in STEM. I owe my journey in STEM from a government school to a PhD in Physics from Cambridge University to timely mentoring and support of a number of mentors who guided me and shaped my dreams. Now through our work at VigyanShaala we are paying it forward while enabling thousands of global STEM Professionals to become part of transformative journeys of millions of Girls across India.
