Vision / Mission

Vision: To build safe spaces to de-stigmatise menstrual health (MH) for marginalised adolescent girls & allies (women, teachers, men, boys & decision makers). We do this to ensure girls are able to access equal opportunities and make better choices around health, education & rights while they menstruate.

Mission: To impact 1 million adolescent girls & allies in the next 3 years. Our work contributes towards SDG 3 (good health & wellbeing), 5 (reduced gender inequity) and 6.2 (sanitation & hygiene).

Nearly a quarter of the world’s adolescents live in India right now. The time is now to ensure these millions of adolescents stay in school.
Uninhibited – because we truly believe shame around our bodies and identities have a huge impact on how we show up in life.
I faced discrimination due to menstrual stigma growing up & wanted to put my ideals of equity & justice into action as feminist. At 20 I started working with rural girls as a Menstrual educator. Seeing how safe spaces move people from a place of shame to becoming uninhibited inspired me to continue.
