Vision / Mission

Mission: Build community edu-leaders to enrich the educational experiences of underserved children for continued success.

Vision: A society where people from excluded sections are well educated, skilled, and self-reliant.

As the young females in rural India are stepping out, they can be empowered to solve their own issues in the community as leaders of change. i-Saksham builds these young females as community edu-leaders so that they can explore their own leadership potential and solve the most pressing issues of education in their own communities.
Belief: At i-Saksham, our core belief is that young women’s leadership can unlock a lot of potentials not only for their personal growth but also for the socio-economic growth of their communities.
We believe that a community should be self-made. We have ourselves been the beneficiaries of education and we wanted to create more such individuals who can solve their own problems. There was potential in tagging young females for this so that they can act as leaders of change and solve pressing issues of their community. Society should not just be a mere recipient of state or market failure but should be able to contribute to its growth too.
