DNA has the opportunity to impact the lives of all 25 Lacs+ PwDs in Karnataka, with a potential to influence all PwDs across the country. Under an MoU, the government has asked DNA to assist in speeding up the implementation of – Unique Disability ID (UDID) project of the government, which identifies a PwD legally and makes him eligible to government schemes/programmes. This prevents pilferage and duplicity in schemes while building a database for government to design policy/programmes appropriately for inclusion of PwDs.

While I was young, the picture of children in hotels as table cleaners had stuck in the mind. Came into social sector looking to work on child lablour which led to work in various verticles, from grassroot to policy work.
