To prevent and eliminate avoidable blindness through public awareness, eye donation advocacy, strengthening eye care infrastructure, establishing eye banks and advanced eye hospitals, expanding access to quality eye care services, and leveraging technology to improve the efficiency, transparency, and impact of vision restoration programs
Deesha brings together awareness, infrastructure, healthcare services, technology, and policy advocacy to create a connected ecosystem that restores sight and transforms lives.
Unlike organizations that focus on a single intervention, Deesha is building a comprehensive eye care ecosystem that spans awareness generation, eye donation promotion, infrastructure development through eye banks, mobile eye care units and super-specialty eye hospitals, and accessible service delivery. We actively engage with policymakers and health systems to drive systemic improvements in eye donation and eye banking, while leveraging technology through a digital platform that enables transparent tissue allocation, data-driven decision-making, and better outcomes for patients with corneal blindness.
