Vision
Our vision is to build a prison system which have a fundamental base of reformation, rehabilitation and reintegration at the core. We will create a cadre of innovative leaders who will reimagine, revamp and reform the prison ecosystem. Building an effective and safe system that is neither biased nor unfair safeguards inmates' rights and ensures justice is delivered equitably.
Mission
Our mission is to host 100+ leaders in the next 10 years and build entrepreneurs out of at least 60-70% of them to start several long-term sustainable interventions to transform the prison system and reform, rehabilitate and reintegrate 1,00,000+ prisoners.
The greatest opportunity is to address a systemic issue that is mostly ignored in society. We will use creative social justice models to fill in the blank spaces on the criminal justice canvas.
‘Reimagining Prisons’ – This institution needs an overhaul and we will do it.
There is a vicious cycle of marginalization and incarceration in this country. If 70%+ people in prisons are dalits, tribes and minorities, the prison mirrors societal inequalities. Criminal Justice is a social justice issue where the access to justice is in the hands of only a few in this country.
