Shruthi Gupta

Shruti Gupta is the Vice President and Head for Commercial Payments for Visa India and South Asia. She is responsible for developing and executing the multi year growth strategy across Commercial solutions.
Shruti joins us with over two decades of diverse experience across Commercial, MNC, local corporates, Risk Management, Strategy, and the startup ecosystem. A career Citi banker, she began her journey with Citi in 2000 and has done several roles in 25 years across lending and non-lending segments, spanning business development and relationship management. Her most recent role was Managing Director for the multinational segment of Citi Commercial Banking. Shruti is passionate about mentoring women and believes in having diverse and inclusive teams.
Shruti has a master’s degree in business administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Delhi University. She is married with two children, and enjoys hiking and horse riding, watching movies and spending time with family and friends.
