Praveen and Tripti Someshwar

Praveen Someshwar is the Managing Director & CEO of Diageo India, with over three decades of leadership experience across organizations such as HT Media and PepsiCo. A Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, Praveen brings deep strategic insight and a passion for contributing meaningfully to the social sector. Outside of work, he enjoys running, travelling, and spending time with his wife Tripti and their daughter, Aditi.
Tripti Someshwar is a Law graduate and Special Educator with over 25 years of experience working in the disability sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Additional & Special Learning Needs from the University of East London and has worked with nonprofits in India and internationally, including Genesis Foundation and Nesbitt Center. She is the Founder of Vision Board Projects, a social impact startup focused on enabling equal opportunities for persons with disabilities. An avid traveller and art enthusiast, Tripti brings compassion, expertise, and purpose to her work.
Having been part of the SVP Delhi Chapter since 2023, Praveen and Tripti strongly resonate with SVP’s philosophy of engaged philanthropy—where giving goes beyond financial support to include time, skills, and hands-on involvement. Recently relocating to Bengaluru, they are excited to continue their SVP journey with the SVP Bengaluru Chapter and contribute actively to the ecosystem. They were first introduced to SVP by Govind Iyer.
