Swathi began her journey in the development sector as a volunteer while pursuing a corporate career. Drawn to environmental conservation and the principles of the circular economy, she went on to lead a climate action community within her previous organisation. Driven by a desire to create greater social impact, she later pursued a postgraduate degree in Development Management from the Indian School of Development Management (ISDM).
She is passionate about advancing human rights, environmental protection, and collaborative partnerships. With over a decade of experience in corporate finance, Swathi brings a strong analytical lens to the social sector and believes in leveraging data to strengthen the work of civil society organisations and amplify their impact.
She is guided by the belief that “”Earth belongs to 8.7 million species, and humans are just one of them. Not everything on Earth exists solely for human use.””
Outside of work, Swathi is a Vipassana practitioner, an avid hiker, and enjoys spending her time reading.
