Mission
Bridging the Gap in Medical Education and healthcare Equal Opportunities - LFU provides free coaching for the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) to students from underprivileged families, especially those from tribal backgrounds Increasing Access- Our goal is to help more students from marginalized communities achieve their dream of becoming doctors Improving Healthcare - By increasing the number of doctors from underprivileged backgrounds, we aim to improve healthcare access and quality in underserved areas Empowering Communities - LFU empowers individuals and communities to break out of the cycle of poverty by providing opportunities for educational advancement
Transformation
Because LFU helps convert limited opportunity into lasting change by turning deserving students into doctors who uplift entire communities.
LFU is entirely volunteer-driven, with active MBBS and engineering students serving as teachers and personal mentors — making it India’s only peer-to-peer free NEET coaching model. Its Ulgulaan initiative uses a culturally sensitive, anthropological approach to coach tribal students from Melghat and Gadchiroli in a fully residential setting — a first-of-its-kind model in tribal education. In 10 years, LFU has enabled 300+ students to enter medical and paramedical colleges, including tribal students — a 65+% success rate from the Ulgulaan branch alone.
