Mission
We need to energise farmers to work fast and with authenticity. We must walk beside farmers - week by week, season by season - building the habits, knowledge, and community systems that create thriving village economies, restore living soil, and offer a new model for what development can look like when it starts from the ground up. Apni Khushali, Apni Zimmedari.
Because JOY works on multiple interconnected aspect of farmers’ lives like livelihoods, ecology, nutrition, skills, and community well-being, farmers taking charge by ensuring maximum attendance of the entire village of Gram Sabhas – to create total transformation rather than solving a single issue.
At the core of the solutions brought by JOY’s 52-week intervention is a continuous, interactive data-and-communication loop. Weekly flows of information between farmers, trainers, and the central team enable real- time learning, feedback, and responsive action. This ongoing exchange strengthens implementation, ensures support that fits the context, and lets the program adapt to emerging needs and challenges.
