Shashi Yadavalli

Shashi recently retired as a Senior Partner from Deloitte Consulting LLP where he specialized in Strategy, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Organizational Restructuring. With over 27 years of experience, Shashi has established a reputation for excellence in advising Private Equity firms and Consumer Business Organizations on key business strategy issues.
Throughout his career, Shashi has held significant leadership roles at Deloitte, including Chief Talent & Inclusion Officer for the M&A Practice, Chief Strategy Officer for the Global Private Equity Practice and Lead Consulting Partner for some of Deloitte’s most strategic clients, demonstrating a consistent track record of success and professional excellence. Shashi’s expertise spans multiple domains, including competitive strategy, finance, and business transformation.

He serves as the Board Chair for Thrive Scholars Cleveland, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high-achieving students of color from low-income communities with the opportunities they need to thrive at top colleges and in high-trajectory careers such as STEM, finance, business, and law. Shashi’s leadership has been instrumental in advancing the organization’s mission and impact. Shashi also actively volunteers his time tutoring under-privileged middle-school students and adults returning to high school in Math and Science.
Shashi has shown a strong commitment to academic excellence throughout his educational journey. He graduated with honors from Osmania University College of Engineering, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Additionally, he obtained a Post Graduate diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he founded the Forum for Industry Interaction and conducted significant research on intersection of Strategy and Information Technology.
