Abdul Qadir

Abdul Qadir is Managing Director at Intersea Maritime Limited and is the Pro-Chancellor of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Institute of Science and Technology. Abdul is a social impact investor interested in the areas of education, livelihood development, clean energy and health. He is an investor in The Chennai Angels network and a limited partner at Bharat Innovation Fund. Abdul and his family run 14 educational institutions, primarily focused on women education, through the Seethakathi Trust. Abdul and his wife: Maryam run the 4M trust, which has supported 30,000 women in 200 urban slums in and around Chennai. Abdul holds an MBA from Babson College, USA and BE Mechanical Engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy. His hobbies include watching movies, listening to music, travelling to exotic locations and having different culinary foods.
