Puneet Kapoor

Puneet grew up in Jodhpur, where he completed his education before stepping into the corporate world. A commerce graduate with an MBA, he began his career at Escorts Ltd. but soon transitioned into banking. Over 32 years, he worked with Citibank, American Express, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. With Kotak he spent the longest time, playing a key role in building the consumer banking business from inception.
Outside of work, Puneet is a sports enthusiast who follows almost every sport and has a great intuitive ability for predicting outcomes. He has been an avid runner and racket sports player, competing in inter-corporate tournaments and even securing podium finishes. He also enjoys hosting Tambola at social gatherings and has recently developed a passion for Poker.
