Shyam Raghunandan & Minali Balaram

Shyam is the MD of Schueco’s business in India and neighboring countries including Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Maldives. He has worked in the construction sector for over 15 years, and drives a focus on industry partnerships, innovation, and sustainability. During this time, Schueco has played a leading role in defining the BIS standards for the industry and partnered with leading educational institutes to increase awareness about the façade business to graduates.
Shyam has studied engineering at IIT Madras and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and graduated from INSEAD, France. He is passionate about education and finding a way to enable equal access to opportunity.
Minali has a background in English and Mass Communication, she has worked as a technical writer and training course developer for over 10 years in the US, Switzerland and India. She is passionate about baking and gastronomy having trained in the US and France.
While in the United States, Shyam & Minali volunteered with ASHA for education(a global non-profit organisation). While Shyam led the activities of New York , New Jersey and Boston Chapters, Minali volunteered coordinating publicity and later leading the Colorado chapter. She then served a two-year term on the Board of Directors with the responsibility of coordinating Public Relations globally.
